The Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga starrer opened in cinemas on February 12 as Star Cinema's Valentine offering. It was well received by moviegoers that it made P25 million on its first day alone.
It was reported to have breached the P100 million mark as of Friday, and by Saturday, it has already grossed P150 million.
It was such a hit that as of Sunday, it has already reached the P200 million mark. And that's just after 5 days of being in cinemas.
Directed by Olivia Lamasan from the script of Carmi Raymundo, Starting Over Again is about a young woman who fell in love with her professor. She, however, left him with nary an explanation.
They met again after four years and she realized that she's still in love with him. But how could she win him back now that he has already found someone else?
Starting Over Again is showing in over 270 cinemas nationwide. With its box-office results, it is expected to run for at least three weeks.
