John Lloyd Cruz admits knowing Cedric Lee

John Lloyd Cruz admitted to knowing Cedric Lee, one of the men who mauled Vhong Navarro in the condo unit of Deniece Cornejo last January 22, 2014.

The actor's name got dragged into the mauling controversy as he is allegedly among those victimized by Lee in the past.

According to the Home Sweetie Home actor, he used to see Lee in a regular basis back in the days when he was still in a relationship with actress Shaina Magdayao.

Magdayao is the younger sister of Vina Morales, Lee's ex-partner whom he has a daughter with.

"Kilala ko 'yun," Cruz said, as quoted by pep.ph. "Kasi nga, when I was still with Shaina, parang inabutan ko pa ang relasyon niya with Vina. Well, I don’t know kung ganoon kalinaw 'yun. Nakikita ko siya sa family gatherings nila. Parang on a regular basis, nakikita ko siya."

When asked, however, to comment on his being dragged into the issue, he said it's best not to say anything about it.

"Tumatakbo na ang kaso nila, and I guess it’s best na huwag na lang akong magbigay ng kahit na ano," he said. "Kasi hindi na rin naman importante kung... well, wala naman akong puwedeng sabihin tungkol diyan."

Another actor who was said to have been victimized by Lee is Jake Cuenca, which the Ikaw Lamang actor has already denied.
