'Bride For Rent' earns P325-M in 3 weeks

Bride For Rent continues to earn more in the box-office as it is reported to have already made P325 million as of February 7, 2014.

Aside from the big figures, the movie has also made history for being the highest grossing Filipino film released in the month of January.

January-shown movies are not really expected to earn as much because it is the month after Christmas, the season where Filipinos spend a lot.

The news was revealed on Twitter by Roxy Liquigan, Star Cinema's ad and promo director, in answer to an inquiry.
The movie opened January 15th, earning P21.2 million on its first day alone. It is the second team-up of Kim Chiu and Xian Lim's love team, following 2013's Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo? which was also a blockbuster, earning over P100 million during its run.
