Such is the case of Star Cinema's Unexpectedly Yours which is currently on its second week in cinemas. It has veteran actors Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla, plus the one of today's hottest love teams - Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto (JoshLia).

My Ex and Whys earns P27M on opening day

Star Cinema's My Ex and Whys earned P27-million on its 1st day in cinemas, according to social media posts by the ABS-CBN movie production outfit.

My Ex and Whys opened in Philippine cinemas on February 15th, a day after Valentine's Day.

It was the 3rd movie starred by the LizQuen love team, following Just The Way You Are and Everyday I Love You, which was both released in 2015.

The movie will surely earn even more during the weekend, but will it surpass the ticket sales of their previous movies which both earned over P100-M?
