Unexpectedly Yours earns P50-M in 3 days

Unexpectedly Yours is a certified box-office hit based on the figures released by Star Cinema on social media.

After reportedly earning P14-million on its opening day, the romantic-comedy starring the reunion of Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla has more than quadrupled its earning as of its 3rd day.

"Unexpectedly Yours has earned over P50 million as of today, Dec. 1," says the picture message the movie production outfit posted on Instagram.

After its blockbuster opening day last November 29, movie goers had the chance to flock to cinemas the following day as it's a national holiday.

Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, Unexpectedly Yours also stars Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto.

The movie was graded "A" by the Cinema Evaluation Board of the Philippines.
