GMA-7 has revealed some of the network's upcoming television series that we should watch out for in 2018, and they have some big ones like the Philippine version of the South Korean drama Descendants of the Sun, plus a new project for Alden Richards.
Yes, you read that right. The Pambansang Bae is going to have a series this 2018 and it's said to be his biggest TV project so far.
Nothing was mentioned regarding a leading lady, though, so we're guessing Maine Mendoza will not be in the cast.
Gabbi Garcia and Ruru Madrid (GabRu) will also lead the cast of another series in which a dog will also be in the spotlight.
Janine Gutierrez will also have a special guest role in this one.
What looks like a heavy drama is the Megan Young, Mikael Daez and Katrina Halili starrer titled The Stepdaughters.
Somehow reminds of The Half Sisters that starred Thea Tolentino and Barbie Forteza which was such a hit that it ran for more than a year (2014-2016).
Speaking of Barbie, she will also have a reunion with Derrick Monasterio in the romantic-comedy Bongga Ka 'Day.
Derrick, by the way, was also part of The Half Sisters.
Meanwhile, the Kapuso network hasn't revealed the cast of the Pinoy version of Descendants of the Sun so I'm guessing it will be for the later part of 2018.
