Vice Ganda speaks up about rift with Karylle

Vice Ganda confirmed that he and his It's Showtime co-host Karylle are not in the best of terms these days.

In MJ Felipe's report in the Wednesday edition of Bandila, the comedian-TV host said that the misunderstanding stemmed from Karylle's not showing up in the victory party for his hit Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy.

According to Vice, he got offended when Karylle gave different alibis for not showing up, the last one of which was her being "tinatamad" to attend.

"Unang sinabi niyang dahilan 'di naman ako invited'. 'Di daw siya nagpunta kasi 'di siya invited. Wala kasi akong driver, 'yun ang sumunod niyang dahilan. Tapos yung sumunod na dahilan niya 'tinatamad kasi ako'. So ako na-offend ako. Sabi ko kung 'di ko mahal 'tong si K, 'di ako ma-o-offend,” he said.

He also chose to speak up on the issue because Karylle's fiancé, Yael Yuzon, seem to have an issue with Vicerylle, Vice and Karylle's "team-up" in It's Showtime.

"Lumabas ako dahil sobrang na-o-offend na si Yael. Parang nahu-hurt siya at 'di niya matanggap na sa dinami-dami ng pwede i-pair up sa girlfriend niya, bakit bakla pa," Vice revealed.

Meanwhile, Vice described what he and Karylle are going through as something that's "normal" for friends.

“Magkapatid na nagtampo, magkabarkada na nagtatampuhan, sobrang normal naman yan. Sabi ko nga sa kanila, let's just work hard. Sabi ko, I will do my job, sabi ko dedma na 'ko sa love team na yan," he said.
