'Starting Over Again' breaches P100M mark in 3 days

Starting Over Again starring Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga has already breached the P100 million mark after just three days of showing.

The Star Cinema movie opened in cinemas on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, earning P25 million on its first day alone.

Moviegoers surely flocked to the cinemas on Valentine's Day (Friday) and made it a date movie because on Saturday morning, Star Cinema revealed the good news that the movie has already breached the P100M mark.

"#StartingOverAgain has breached the 100M mark in just THREE DAYS!" the movie production outfit posted on Instagram.

The lead stars of Starting Over Again are currently in the US for the movie's international showing, and via Mico del Rosario (Star Cinema's Advertising and Promotions Manager), they sent their messages of thanks to those who have made the movie a big success.

Iza Calzado, who plays the third wheel in the movie, is currently in Hong Kong. Here's her message upon learning of the movie's success:


Directed by Olivia M. Lamasan from the screenplay of Carmi Raymundo, the movie is currently showing in 210 cinemas nationwide.
