Nikki Gil moves on, dates a non-showbiz guy

Nikki Gil has already moved on from the hurt her break-up with Billy Crawford caused her. Proof is that she's now dating a non-showbiz guy that she met during her college days.

On Wednesday in Kris TV, Gil said she didn't have a hard time trusting again because she knows that what happened in her previous relationship isn't how love always is.

"It's not like that all the time, parang ito ay nagkataon lang," she said, referring to her failed relationship with the It's Showtime host. "Love isn't supposed to be like that, hindi siya dapat masakit at hindi ka dapat iiyak."

On how she met the lucky guy she's currently dating, Gil said she met him through common friends during her Ateneo days.

Gil and Crawford's break-up became a hot topic in July last year, with Crawford's emotional interview with Boy Abunda in The Buzz becoming the talk of the town.

He eventually denied rumors that romantically linked him to his It's Showtime co-host Coleen Garcia. Only last month, however, he said he is already courting her.
