Sarah Lahbati makes showbiz comeback

Sarah Lahbati makes a comeback through the horror movie titled Basement, which is currently showing in cinemas.

But what made her decide to come back after the controversy she caused last year? Or does she have a choice?

On the Startalk episode that aired last Sunday, the Starstruck V winner said she has missed acting, as well as other things that go with it.

"I missed acting, that’s the first thing that I missed," she told the show's host, Butch Francisco. "Working with amazing people, amazing directors, amazing actors na naging kaibigan ko na rin. Nakaka-miss."

She also said that she missed the overnight shoots.

"In fairness, na-miss ko yung puyatan," she added.

As to the reason why she went back, she said that there are things people do when they are emotional.

"I was just really... that time, I was really emotional and parang... Basta, so many things happened na, you know, when you’re emotional and you’re down, parang you make decisions na parang after months, you’re gonna be like, 'Why did I say that?' or 'Why did I decide that?' So parang it happens to everyone, not just me," she said.

But given a chance, Lahbati said she would do it again because the experience made her become what she is now.

"I will do it again," she said. "I would do it all over again even If I had a choice na easier way. Because I wouldn’t be like this kung hindi ko napagdaanan yun," she said.

Aside from working again, Lahbati said she looks forward to new opportunities now that she's back.

"I look forward to working again, to acting again. I really miss acting and, yeah, mainly to going back to work. And I look forward to new opportunities," she said.

When Sarah Lahbati left showbiz early last year, she left behind an unfinished contract with GMA-7. Her Artist Management Contract with the Kapuso Network is effective until February 21, 2015.
