On her Instagram account, the Queen of All Media posted a photo of Yap with their son Bimby Yap and her firstborn, Josh, and captioned it with a birthday message for the basketball star.
"Happy Birthday James. Peace, harmony & God's blessings to you... I am a Mom who has learned to set aside past hurts & I've learned how to move on w/ God's grace because I want my sons to be well adjusted & positive. And that starts w/ my example," Aquino said.
She seemed to have really let go of the anger in her heart as she claimed in the Tuesday episode of her new talk show with Boy Abunda where she defended Yap against those saying he "sold" the Game 6 of San Mig's semi-finals match against Ginebra.
"Sa matagal na panahon na nakilala ko si James Yap at nakilala ko ang buong pagkatao n'ya, hindi n'ya gagawin na magbenta ng laro dahil buong buhay n'ya, binuhos n'ya for that," she said.
She also gave Yap an advanced birthday greeting that night, revealing that her sons would be spending the day with him.
"On Saturday, happy birthday, James. Alagaan mo si Bimby at si Josh. Nasa 'yo sila, be good," she said.
"Kumpleto na birthday ko. Thank you Lord," he said.
Yap turned 32 on Feb. 15, a day after Aquino turned 43 on Feb. 14.
