The illness is unknown. The patients have already consulted specialists from different hospitals but their diagnosis are all different. Biopsies even lead to nothing, thus, no one can say what the cure is.
It was described as flesh-eating because the illness has covered the patient's head and body with wounds that seem to eat the skin and the flesh under it. What's even disturbing is that the wounds have worms and ants coming out of them.
Some connect the unknown disease to the prophecy of Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj, founder of Jesus Ministries, who predicted that a disease will originate in Pangasinan, will spread to Cebu and the whole nation, and will scare the world.
Selvaraj was also able to predict the earthquake in Bohol and the tragic super typhoon Yolanda.
