'ASAP Live in Dubai' Part 1 airs this Sunday

ABS-CBN will take TV viewers to the Middle East this Sunday (February 2) as it airs the first part of the star-studded “ASAP Live in Dubai” that drew 18,000 people at the Dubai Festival City.

ABS-CBN's new drama series, The Legal Wife, remained at number five of Kantar Media's Top 20 program for Tuesday and Wednesday, January 28-29, 2014. It got 20.7% on Tuesday, and 21.6% on Wednesday, almost the same as the 21.0% national rating it got for its pilot episode on Monday.

Kantar Media National TV Ratings (Jan 22-24, 2014) - 'Got To Believe' ranks 2nd

Got To Believe was the second most-watched television program nationwide from Wednesday to Thursday, January 22-24, 2014, based on Kantar Media's data.


The said episodes were the beginning of the series' second season which showed Chichay (Kathryn Bernardo) and Joaquin (Daniel Padilla) bumping into each other in Singapore after the latter lost his memory because of the head surgery he went through.

Angel Locsin says slapping Maja Salvador is not easy

Angel Locsin and Maja Salvador are both thrilled with how their slapping scene in “The Legal Wife” trailer became a hot topic among TV viewers and netizens. However, Angel confessed that it was difficult for her to do it.


“Slapping Maja, whom I consider like my little sister, was not as easy as it looked like on screen. Actually, I really avoid having scenes like that because I don’t want to hurt my co-actors,” said Angel, who will play the role of Monica in the story, the wife of Adrian (to be played by Jericho Rosales).

The Kapamilya network’s newest sitcom “Home Sweetie Home” made strong first impressions upon the airing of its pilot episode last Sunday (January 5), topping the rating charts and ranking number one nationwide.


According to data from Kantar Media, “Home Sweetie Home” raked in 19.9% in TV ratings, making it the most watched TV program among last Sunday’s shows in both urban and rural areas. Feedback from viewers via social media also proved the show was a hit, with many becoming instant fans of the John Lloyd Cruz-Toni Gonzaga tandem.
