56th Grammy Awards - Winners List

The winners of the 56th Grammy Awards were revealed during the ceremony held Sunday night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

This year's winners include Bruno Mars who got the Best Pop Vocal Album award for Unorthodox Jukebox, Rihanna who got the Best Urban Contemporary Album award for Unapologetic, and Alicia Keys who got the Best RnB Album award for Girl On Fire.

MYX International Top 20 (Feb 9-15) - Bruno Mars’ “When I Was Your Man” debuts at no. 15

Girls’ Generation’s I Got A Boy still topped MYX International Top (MIT) 20 for February 9-15, 2013.

Their other music video, Dancing Queen, is ranking higher at no. 9 this week (from last week’s 10th). Their Flower Power, on the other hand, is slowly going down from 10th two weeks ago, 15th last week, and 18th this week.

Bruno Mars - “Locked Out Of Heaven” music video

Bruno Mars has just released the music video for his new single Locked Out Of Heaven which was directed by both Cameron Duddy and Bruno Mars.

The music video shows Bruno Mars performing in front of a crowd with beautiful women. His look, especially the hair, reminded me of Michael Jackson in Thriller music video. The song, though, was a little reminiscent of The Police’s  I Don’t Wanna Lose Your Love Tonight.

Adam Lambert - “Never Close Our Eyes” [Music Video]

The music video for Adam Lambert’s Never Close Our Eyes has been released.

Never Close Our Eyes is the second single from the singer’s second album, Trespassing, following the release of the title track. It was first released digitally on April 17. The Bruno Mars-written song received positive reviews specially when it debuted on television via Jimmy Kimmel Live! on April 27.

Bruno Mars' "It Will Rain" – Music and Lyrics

Check out the new Bruno Mars song titled It Will Rain. The song is included in the original movie soundtrack of the upcoming The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 which is showing on November 18, 2011. (Read "Breaking Dawn – Part 1" – Soundtrack List)

The artwork's background reminds me of grade school art project with its watercolor-esque feel. On the foreground is a silhouette of a man holding an umbrella in one hand and a bottle (of wine) in the other.

"Breaking Dawn – Part 1" – Soundtrack List

The soundtrack of the upcoming The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 has just been revealed together with the artwork that I'm sure Twilight fans would love.

The cover consists of images of Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) as a couple, with Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner), whose facial expression tells us he's not happy at all, not far from them. Behind them is a pack of angry wolves, seeming ready to attack.

What's exciting in the soundtrack is a song by Bruno Mars titled It Will Rain, which the singer described as showing the darker side of love.

Winners of the 53rd Grammy Awards

The two Ladies (Lady Antebellum and Lady Gaga) are two of the big winners at the 53rd Grammy Awards held February 13th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Lady Antebellum went home with four major awards including Record of the Year, while Lady Gaga won two.

The Filipino-Puerto Rican singer Bruno Mars also won Best Male Pop Performance for Just the Way You Are while my personal favorite, Train, won Best Pop Performance By a Duo Or Group With Vocals for Hey Soul Sister.

Meanwhile, Justin Bieber won nothing. He lost the Best New Artist award to jazz bassist and singer Esperanza Spalding.
