Radha Tinsay, who is popularly known just by her first name, went through the Blind Auditions of The Voice Of The Philippines where she impressed the coaches with her rendition of Tina Turner’s What’s LoveGot To Do With It.
Coaches Lea Salonga and Sarah Geronimo both turned around for her and both were happy to see the powerhouse singer in front of them.
Radha was a member of the popular 90s band Kulay. She went solo after they got disbanded due to the death of a band member. As a solo performer, she did theater and lounge and occasionally sang in TV shows. She was last seen in the defunct GMA-7 Sunday show Party Pilipinas.
Coach Lea commended Radha’s improvement since she last saw her in the rehearsal of Once On This Island. Sarah, meanwhile, confessed she was a fan not just of Radha’s voice but her whole person as well.
In the end, Radha chose to be part of Lea’s team, the coach who first turned for her.
