Marco Morales, the indie actor who hit the news last week for leaving a Pasay motel without paying his bills, was arrested Wednesday afternoon while leaving another hotel in the same manner.
The bold actor who made a buzz with his frontal nudity in films like 2008’s Walang Kawala was being considered by the police as suffering from psychological sickness.
Makati Police Chief Supt. Manuel Lucban said that Marco, who is inactive in showbiz at the moment, could be finding it hard to detach himself from what he had gotten used to while he was still in the limelight.
“’Yung dating kanyang sinasabuhay na mga pagtira-tira sa hotel, ‘yung kanyang luho, eh medyo nahihirapan siya sa ngayon,” Lucban told ABS CBN News.
He also noted that Marco’s family is not even suffering from financial problems, perhaps basing on the actor’s relatives that visited him Wednesday night.
Marco Gonzaga Saca (his real name) was caught while leaving St. Giles Hotel in Makati City. Prior to his arrest, he also escaped his bills at the Manila Peninsula, Mandarin Hotel, as well as several branches of the motel in Pasay where he was captured on CCTV leaving with his Volvo and hitting a staff in the process.
He is now facing charges that include estafa, concealment of true name, resistance and disobedience, causing alarm and scandal, as well as theft for reportedly stealing motel television, and attempted homicide for hitting a motel employee in Pasay.
