A new Mister International Philippines was crowned on Friday night, June 21, 2013, at the FilOil-Flying V Arena in San Juan. Gil Wagas from Lapu Lapu City bested 23 other gorgeous contestants from around the Philippines and will be representing the country in the world finals of Mister International 2013 in Indonesia this November.
As Mister International Philippines 2013, Gil won almost a million-peso worth of prizes, which include cosmetic services from Above Aesthetics, scholarship, management contract, and cash prize as salary for his year-long reign. Aside from the title, he also won special awards namely Best in Regional Costume, Mister Informatics and Mister Psalmstre.
1st runner-up who will represent the Philippines at the 2014 Gentleman Universe in Chile was Wilfred Placencia of Dumaguete City. 2nd runner-up went to Jeffrey Sanchez of Bacolod.
Also part of the Top 6 were Cainta, Rizal; Cebu; and Bukidnon. The Top 12 also had Quezon City; Fil-Japan; Pila, Laguna; Negros; Surigao del Norte; and Cavite.

The panel of judges included Lilibeth Pernecita, fashion designer Cary Santiago, Albert Andrada, Bb. Pilipinas World 2010 and Miss Humanity International 2011 2nd runner-up Czarina Gatbonton, John Paul Herrera, Aaron Lim, Mister Singapore 2012 and Mister International 1st runner-up Ron Teh, Mister International 2012 Ali Hammoud, Alex Moico, Dr. Radi Apostol, fashion designer Renee Salud, and Jim Acosta.
