13-year-old YouTube sensation Roel Manlangit was declared the fourth season winner of ABS-CBN’s Pilipinas Got Talent.
He bested five other acts with his rendition of Noypi, a popular rock song which was specially arranged to showcase the best of his vocal abilities.
He got the highest percentage of votes with 30.22%, winning the grand prize of P2 million.
1st runner-up was Frankendal Fabroa who garnered 25.07% of votes, while the MP3 Band was 2nd runner-up with 17.48% of votes.
Other non-winning finalists were D’ Intensity Breakers, Lateral Drift Productions, and Zilent Overload.
We will surely see more of Roel from now on. His exceptional vocal skills will for sure be put to good use by the Kapamilya Network.
Being the youngest finalist of PGT, his story was also interesting as the house that his family called home was washed out by the flood brought about by Typhoon Pablo. Surely he can now rebuild their house with the P2 million cash prize.
