The second The Hobbit movie, subtitled The Desolation of Smaug, is coming to theaters this December 13th and posters and trailers are being randomly released to the delight of Middle Earth fans.
The first Hobbit movie was released last year (also December 13th) and this second movie looks more exciting judging by the trailer.
Directed by Peter Jackson, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug stars Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins, Elijah Wood as Frodo Baggins, Richard Armitage as Thorin Oakenshield, Ian McKellen as Gandalf, Andy Serkis as Gollum, Cate Blanchett as Galadriel, Orlado Bloom as Legolas, Benedict Cumberbatch as Smaug/The Necromancer, and a lot more.
Synopsis:
The Dwarves, Bilbo and Gandalf have successfully escaped the Misty Mountains, and Bilbo has gained the One Ring. They all continue their journey to get their gold back from the Dragon, Smaug.
