UAAP Season 76 opens June 29

The season 76 of University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) will have its opening ceremonies on Saturday, June 29, 2013, at the Mall of Asia Arena. Hosted by Adamson University (AdU), the ceremonies will start at 12:30 PM.

Dancers from Adamson and other member schools will give a grand production number to open the season. UAAP legends Hector Calma and Kenneth Duremdes will also grace the event.

After the opening ceremonies, the Senior Men’s Basketball tourney will officially begin with a match between University of the East (UE) Warriors and Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws at 2 PM. It will be followed by De La Salle University (DLSU) Green Archers against the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Growling Tigers at 4 PM.

Meanwhile, University of the Philippines (UP) Fighting Maroons vs Adamson University (AdU) Soaring Falcons will be on Sunday, June 30, at 2 PM, followed by the toss-up between the Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) Blue Eagles and the National University (NU) Bulldogs at 4 PM.

Don’t forget to watch the UAAP Season 76 opening ceremonies and Senior Men’s Basketball games on Saturday, June 29. It will be aired live on Studio 23 and Balls HD, with livestream to be available via www.uaapsports.tv.

PBB Teen Edition 4 Audition at MOA on January 6 & 13

Aside from the London leg, Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Season 4 is going to hold auditions at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City on January 6 and 13, 2012. To qualify, you must be 13-17 years old. Just bring your birth certificate to the audition venue along with a friend, relative or family member who is at least 20 years old.
