Sammy Lagmay passes away

Sammy Lagmay has passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at his home in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. The comedian died at around 3 PM, according to reports by dzMM. He was 55.

Sammy had battled for three years with complications of diabetes which were first left untreated because of financial problems. A number of television programs have featured his condition but he has already lost his eyesight during those times.

He has mentioned that his only wish was to be reunited with his children.

Sammy was popular for roles in the sitcoms Chika Chika Chicks and Abangan Ang Susunod Na Kabanata.
