Claudine Barretto to come back with 2 movies

Good news for the fans of Claudine Barretto. After all the controversies that the actress has been involved in, Viva and Star Cinema are reportedly banking on two movie projects for the 33-year-old actress.

Tagged as the Optimum Drama Queen during the height of her career, reports say she is being offered to star in a romance-drama movie by Viva Films, the film outfit she is in contract with.

Another movie will be a co-production between Viva and Star Cinema, which will mark her return to the Kapamilya Network.

Despite being not active in showbiz, Claudine’s name continue to be in the headlines due to controversies, the most recent of which was a conflict with her family and her separation from husband Raymart Santiago.

Claudine was with Star Magic, ABS-CBN’s talent management arm, for 17 years before she transferred to GMA-7. Her last TV project with the Kapuso Network was the fantasy series Iglot in 2011, while her last movie was 2010’s In Your Eyes which was a co-production between Viva and GMA Films.
