The eight movies that made it to the list of official entries to the 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) have been named.
From the shortlisted fifteen titles, among the eight that made it include the movie version of the hit daytime rom-com Be Careful With My Heart, the horror movie that will be topbilled by the Kathryn Bernardo-Daniel Padilla love team, and the Vice Ganda starrer Boy, Girl, Bakla, Tomboy.
The news was revealed on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, by Francis Tolentino, chairman of Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).
The eight movies will be exhibited in theaters nationwide during the annual MMFF which opens on Christmas day.
The official entries to the 2013 MMFF are:
- 10,000 Hours (Phil Film Studio) starring Robin Padilla
- San Pedro Calungsod: Batang Martir (Hubo Productions) starring JM de Guzman, Christian Vasquez
- Boy, Girl, Bakla, Tomboy (Viva Films and Star Cinema) starring Vice Ganda and Maricel Soriano
- Be Careful With My Heart (ABS-CBN Productions Inc.) starring Richard Yap and Jodi Sta. Maria
- Pagpag (ABS-CBN Productions Inc./ Skylight Films/ Regal Films) starring Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo
- Kimmy Dora: Quantum of Kyeme (Spring Films) starring Piolo Pascual and Eugene Domingo
- My Super Kap (Imus Productions) starring Bong Revilla, Ogie Alcasid, and Toni Gonzaga
- Torky And My Little Bossing (OctoArts/ MZET/ APT/ Kris Aquino Production) starring Vic Sotto and Kris Aquino
