Due to heavy rain and flood caused by a thunderstorm, universities in Manila decided to suspend afternoon classes on Thursday, June 13, 2013.
University of Santo Tomas (UST) and San Beda College were among the firsts to announce suspension. It was followed by the city government of Manila suspending classes in public elementary and high schools effective 3 PM. Pasay City also suspended all public school levels (including colleges) effective 5 PM.
Here’s the list of schools that suspended classes on June 13.

Far Eastern University Manila
Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila
Philippine Women's University-Manila
San Beda College-Manila
San Sebastian College
Sta. Isabel College-Manila (college level)
St. Paul University (both Manila and Quezon City campuses)
St. Scholastica's College - Manila
University of Sto. Tomas
University of the East - Manila
University of the Philippines-Manila
PASAY CITY: All public elementary, high schools, and colleges
MANILA: Public elementary and high schools
