An arrest warrant has been issued by a Makati court for actress Sarah Lahbati regarding the libel case filed against her by GMA Films president Atty. Annette Gozon-Abrogar.
Abrogar filed the case in relation to the messages posted by Lahbati on her Twitter account, accusing the network executive of protecting ICONS Management which does under the table deals in GMA-7.
According to Atty. Gener Asuncion, Abrogar’s lawyer, the warrant was issued May 20, 2013 but couldn’t be served because Lahbati is currently not in the country.
It can be recalled that the young actress left for Switzerland in the middle of the controversy. Rumors say the move was to hide her growing belly as she was allegedly pregnant with her boyfriend Richard Gutierrez’s baby.
Meanwhile, Lahbati’s last tweet as of this posting was fifteen hours ago, saying, “numb.”
