After months of speculation about the real score between them, Gerald Anderson has finally confessed that Maja Salvador is now his girlfriend.
On the cover of the latest issue of StarStudio magazine, the Kapamilya actor was quoted as saying “Oo, in love ako sa kanya. In love ako kay Maja Salvador.” He also said the words that put things on record: “She’s my girlfriend.”
The magazine’s June 2013 issue, which becomes available soon, reportedly contains details about the relationship of the controversial couple, with Gerald even sharing the story of how they fell in love.
Gerald and Maja became a hot topic early January when Kim Chiu expressed her regret over a wasted friendship. She felt that she was betrayed because Maja, her former bestfriend, was the one she told her heartaches to during the time that she and Gerald were still together.
With the controversy, the question about the decency of dating the “ex” of your bestfriend even became a hot topic.
On May 5, during Maja’s 10th showbiz anniversary celebration on ASAP 18, Gerald surprised the actress with a bouquet of flowers. As message, he said on live TV: “I’ll always be here to protect you kaya huwag ka mag-alala.” Maja then responded with: “Thank you dumating ka sa buhay ko.”
We always kinda knew that the two are “on,” but someone has to admit it for the sake of putting things on record. Now that Gerald has said it straight, the next thing we’re excited to hear about is Kim’s (and the Kimerald’s) reaction.
