Chris Leonardo gets the boot (“Artista Academy”)

Chris Leonardo was eliminated from TV5’s Artista Academy on August 20, 2012.

Chris was the first to get the boot from the Top 16 but as Wilma Galvante said, his training in the Asian Academy of Television Arts will continue. After all, each one of the Top 16 are already Kapatid talents.

Chris was joined at the Bottom 3 by Benjo Leoncio and Stephanie Rowe. He was eliminated for getting the lowest score, which is the average of his grades at the AATA, scores from the Live Exam, and the text votes. Among the eight boys, Chris was our personal top 7.

Meanwhile, our top boy contestant Vin Abrenica was among the Top 3 this week along with Sophie Albert (our Top 1 among the girls) and Chanel Morales (our Top 3).

The 15 remaining contestants are:

Boys: Vin Abrenica, Benjo Leoncio, Mark Newmann, Akitorio Blanco, Brent Manzano, John Orlando and Alberto Bruno

Girls: Sophie Albert, Nicole Estrada, Chanel Morales, Shaira Mae, Steph Rowe, Malak Shdifat, Marvelous Alejo and Julia Quisumbing

Catch Artista Academy on weekdays at 11:45 AM and 9 PM, and every Saturday at 9:30 PM, only on TV5.
