Hunter X Hunter will be a new addition to the morning block of GMA-7 beginning Monday (August 27).
The Japanese manga series follows the story of Gon who learns that his father is still alive, contrary to what he was told.
Gon also learns that Ging, his father, is a legendary Hunter, an elite member of humanity who specializes “in fantastic pursuits such as locating rare or unidentified animal species, treasure hunting, surveying unexplored enclaves, or hunting down lawless individuals.” -wiki
Gon becomes determined to follow his father’s footsteps, goes through the rigorous Hunter Examination to become a real Hunter, and eventually finds his father.
Catch Gon’s adventures as he meets various other kinds of Hunters and encounters the paranormal. Written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi, Hunter X Hunter is set to air weekday mornings beginning August 27, right after Inu Yasha, in GMA-7’s Astig Authority.
