ABS-CBN’s afternoon drama series Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo is doing so well in the national TV ratings that it doesn’t only beat its rival programs in GMA-7 but it ranks even higher than the primetime shows in the Kapuso network.
Kantar Media’s national TV ratings shows that Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo got 16.6% rating while its rival show, Kasalanan Bang Ibigin Ka, only got 12.5%.
Meanwhile, the primetime soaps of GMA-7 got lower ratings than the Kapamilya soap starred by Shaina Magdayao, Jake Cuenca and Bangs Garcia. Makapiling Kang Muli which is topbilled by Richard Gutierrez only got 15.1%, Luna Blanca got 14.8%, and One True Love which stars Alden Richards and Louise delos Reyes only had 11.4%.
GMA is really doing poorly in the national ratings game. We wonder if their upcoming shows like Indio will be able to attract more viewers into their primetime block.
Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo airs weekday afternoons right after Angelito: Ang Bagong Yugto in ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Gold.
