Angel Locsin has at least two movies lined up, a teleserye possible next year

Angel Locsin is one of the stars of One More Try, one of Star Cinema and Viva Films’ entry to the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) this December.

Angel Locsin

One More Try is the follow-up movie to her box-office hit Unofficially Yours (shown last February) that she topbilled with John Lloyd Cruz.

Aside from the MMFF entry, she is also given a horror-comedy movie to work on opposite Vhong Navarro. Also, talks has it that she will be doing the role of Darna in the Star Cinema movie adaptation of the Mars Ravelo classic.

But Angel has another wish. Despite the line up of upcoming movies, the Kapamilya actress admitted she’s been longing to be back in doing teleseryes.

“I really enjoy doing films, but since I’m a breadwinner, I want to be able to save up,” Angel said. She revealed, however, that there are plans for her to do a TV series but it will definitely be not this year.

With all the movies lined up for her, plus her Saturday sitcom TODA Max, she wouldn’t have any more time to devote to a teleserye.

Speaking of TODA Max, her character Isabel will undergo depression for being unemployed for six months. Her neighbors will try their best not to make her any more depressed by restraining from talking about anything that will remind Isabel of being jobless.

Meanwhile, Justin’s (Vhong) previous employee, the midget Hap, wants to go back to his work in the carinderia but Justin already hired Benjo (Benjie Paras). Little did they know that Hap and Benjo are half-brothers and they are not in good terms. Their misunderstanding worsens because of the job and results into a mixed martial arts fight.

It will surely be a hilarious night once again in TODA Max this Saturday (September 1), right after The X Factor Philippines, on ABS-CBN.
