KZ Tandingan performed Amy Winehouse’s Rehab during the Top 9 performance show of The X Factor Philippines. The theme of the night was “tribute to late music icons.”
KZ Tandingan is from the Girls category being mentored by Charice Pempengco.
She did a very good job with the song, she even said that she and Amy have the same style. We so agree. We even compared her to Amy Winehouse when we first heard her in the auditions.
Judges’ comments:
Martin Nievera: I love this girl… As a mentor as a judge, and as a fan, hinahanap ko talaga ‘yong mga flaws. I can’t find one in you.
Pilita Corales: Lahat ng tao maski saan ka pupunta ngayon sinasabi nila si KZ ang mananalo ng X Factor at yumayabang na raw ikaw… [But] They just admire your fantastic talent.
Gary Valenciano: Hindi mo na kailangan talagang mag-rehab dahil grabe talaga ang ginagawa mo sa lahat ng songs na binibigay sa ‘yo.
Charice:Tonight is a tribute theme. Tonight, KZ told everybody Amy Winehouse’s life and tonight she did so great.
