Jeric Medina sings “Can’t Help Falling In Love” in “The X Factor Philippines” Top 9 performance show

Jeric Medina picks Elvis Presley’s Can’t Help Falling In Love to sing at Top 9 performance show of The X Factor Philippines. The theme of the night was “tribute to late music icons.”

Jeric is from the Boys category being mentored by Martin Nievera. The guitar and the slow singing can make any one who listen to Jeric fall in love.

He paid tribute to Elvis Presley, the King of Rock and Roll, who died in 1977 at the age of 42.

The judges’ comments:

Pilita Corales: Your mentor has been telling you talaga na you now have more confidence than before. You’ve always been a little shy, ‘di ba? Don’t be shy because you have everything that might make you win this contest. Continue doing that.

Gary Valenciano: There are many performers who started out being very shy and have never grown out of it. I think your being shy pwede mong idagdag ‘yon sa act mo. And I believe that your mentor will help you in putting that together… For me lang, sana he stayed with the guitar all the way. Kasi ‘yong impact ng kumakanta ka ta’s may gitara, parang mas lumalabas, mas naririnig namin ‘yong kaluluwa mo… Your soul is heard. But you did a good job.

Charice Pempengco: I agree with Tito Gary. No’ng nakaupo ka tapos nakagitara ka lang, as in ‘yon na ‘yon. ‘Yon ‘yong feel na talagang kumbaga parang ‘yan na ung, ‘yan na si Jeric. Talagang crooner ka na… Congratulations you did great.

Martin Nievera: You could just sit in one place with that beautiful voice… Good job, buddy!
