Princess, the dog who will play Anghel in the upcoming soap Aso Ni San Roque, is featured in the latest teaser released by GMA-7.
Princess, a two-year-old half golden retriever and half aspin, is gaining popularity as she gets another big project.
She was first given a starring role in the Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival 2012 entry Bwakaw, which will have a commercial release beginning September 5.
After the indie film, the dog will soon conquer television as Anghel, the guardian angel in the form of a dog in Aso Ni San Roque. She will be the guardian angel of the character to be portrayed by child star Mona Louise Rey (Munting Heredera).
It’s just fun to note that Princess, who is a highly-trained bomb-sniffing dog, gets the title role in both the indie movie and soap opera. As a dog lover, I can’t help but think her talent fees can already cover a lifetime of medical and veterinarian fees, plus high-end dog food and treats and a lot of pampering.
A very lucky dog, indeed.
