Jon Orlando kicked-out, Julia Quisumbing dropped-out from TV5’s “Artista Academy”

Jon Orlando was kicked out from TV5’s Artista Academy on August 27, 2012.

The Filipino-Italian from Canada was eliminated for getting the week’s lowest score, which is the average of his grades at the AATA, scores from the Live Exam, and the text votes.

He was the second to be kicked-out from the Top 16, following Chris Leonardo who was eliminated on August 20.

Jon Orlando was our personal top 6 from the 8 boys, while Chris was our top 7. Meanwhile, our top 8 from the girls, Julia Quisumbing, was dropped-out from Artista Academy this week due to multiple absences. Talk about not taking care of opportunities. Her slot should have been given to someone else more determined.

Julia was also part of this week’s bottom contestants. Along with her and Jon, those who almost got eliminated were Brent Manzano, Nicole Estrada and Marvelous Alejo.

Artista Academy now only have 13 contestants left. They are:

Boys: Vin Abrenica, Benjo Leoncio, Mark Newmann, Akitorio Blanco, Brent Manzano and Alberto Bruno

Girls: Sophie Albert, Nicole Estrada, Chanel Morales, Shaira Mae, Steph Rowe, Malak Shdifat and Marvelous Alejo

Catch Artista Academy weeknights at 9:00 PM, and every Saturday at 8:30 PM, only on TV5.
