Kedebon Colim sings “Yugyugan Na” in “The X Factor Philippines” Top 9 performance show

Kedebon Colim performed Karl Roy’s Yugyugan Na in the Top 9 performance show of The X Factor Philippines. The theme for the night was “tribute to late music icons.”

Kedebon belongs to the Boys category mentored by Martin Nievera.

He again performed with a lot of dancers and was given a piece that would allow him to charm the audience with his funny moves and being hyper. We wonder how he’d do alone on that stage with a serious song.

He paid tribute to Karl Roy who died last March at the age of 44.

The judges’ comments:

Pilita Corales: Alam mo gusto kitang makita naman ng isang beses e serious kang kumanta. Hindi puro na lang tumatakbo dito, tumatakbo doon, nahuhulog doon…

Gary Valenciano: Kakatakot ‘pag umapak ako d’yan sa stage na ‘yan at sabay tayong kumanta. Nakakita ako ng litrato na nakalagay “Mr. Pure Enery with Mr. Multivitamin.” Minsan napapansin ko dahil sobrang excited ka hindi mo tinatapos ‘yong mga kinakanta mo…Biglang sa dulo nawawala ka... Gawin mong klaro ang bawa’t salita.

Charice Pempengco: You make us feel so good… Pag nae-excite ka either nawawala ka sa tono or ‘yong mic mo lumalayo, nawawala. ‘Yon ang pag-aralan mo.

Martin: Tama lahat sila… ‘Pag sobrang excited nawawala ka sa words, nawawala ka sa tono… You represent somebody… ‘yong never say die attitude. These are the qualities of a superstar. The voice, it can be fixed. Very proud of you.
