“Bwakaw” to be released commercially by Star Cinema beginning September 5 (Trailer)

Bwakaw, the Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival 2012 Director’s Showcase entry by Jun Lana, will be released commercially by Star Cinema beginning September 5.

The movie is about an old gay man (Eddie Garcia) and how a stray dog named Bwakaw taught him how to live life without fear.

Eddie Garcia was named the festival’s Best Actor for his role. Bwakaw was also awarded Audience Choice and NETPAC Best Film, and is the official selection for the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival and 50th New York Film Festival.

PBB Teen Edition 4 Audition at MOA on January 6 & 13

Aside from the London leg, Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Season 4 is going to hold auditions at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City on January 6 and 13, 2012. To qualify, you must be 13-17 years old.
