Official entries to 2012 MMFF revealed

The 8 official entries to the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) have been revealed.

From the reported 14 scripts that were submitted for consideration, 6 were dropped to come up with the list containing the better 8 scripts to be exhibited at the annual festival held during the Christmas season.

Those that didn’t make it were Ben Tumbling (Scenema Concept International), Tuhog (Quantum Films), Sa ‘Yo Ang Sinapupunan (Solar Films & Brillante Mendoza), My Prince Charming and Death March (Deus Lux Mea Films), and an untitled script from Center Stage Productions.

Here’s the official list of entries to the 2012 MMFF:

1. Coño Problems (GMA Films) – Aljur Abrenica, Solenn Heussaff, Isabelle Daza, Bianca King, Mikael Daez
2. El Presidente (Scenema Concept International) – Nora Aunor, ER Ejercito, Cristine Reyes, Cesar Montano
3. Mga Kuwento Ni Lola Basyang (Unitel)
4. One More Try (Star Cinema/Viva Films) – Dingdong Dantes, Angelica Panganiban, Angel Locsin, Zanjoe Marudo
5. Shake Rattle & Roll 14 (Regal Films) – Lovi Poe, Dennis Trillo, Vhong Navarro
6. Si Agimat, Si Enteng & Me (OctoArts/M-Zet/Imus/APT/GMA Films) – Bong Revilla, Vic Sotto, Judy Ann Santos
7. Sisteraka (Star Cinema/Viva Films) – Kris Aquino, Vice Ganda
8. The Strangers (Quantum) – Julia Montes, Enrique Gil, Enchong Dee
