Phil Younghusband reveals relationship with Angel Locsin now official, says there’s no wedding plans yet

One year and four months after Phil Younghusband asked Angel Locsin out for a date via Twitter, the Azkals star striker revealed that they are now officially together.

“We’re officially together. We’re girlfriend and boyfriend,” Phil announced during a press launch in Rockwell.

The Azkals star striker even revealed the date Angel officially became his girlfriend. “A few weeks ago… May 27,” was his answer to the question of the press.

While the two were admittedly going out since that first date last year, they never put a label in their relationship when asked about it during past interviews. Despite that, however, many thought they were just being mysterious about their status when they’re almost inseparable and were always seen together in public events.

Now we know that Angel gave her sweet “yes” to Phil just last month.

But are there any wedding plans being talked about?

“It’s too early to plan that. I’ve always said I want to have a future with Angel, but no plans of wedding yet,” he said, also adding that they still have to work first.

Phil and Angel are such a lovely couple. Angel has been seen in a number of the Azkals football matches to cheer for Phil. He, on the other hand, even agreed to guest in Angel’s sitcom, which just shows his support for her showbiz career.

Lately, Angel has been busy filming scenes in Baguio for the movie One More Try. It will be one of Star Cinema’s two entries to the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival in December.
