Roy Requejo’s separated parents were invited by Big Brother inside the PBB house to give way to Roy’s wish that his parents be able to talk and make amends.
However, Roy had to first build a bridge through the welding skills that he also uses in the outside world to earn money. Ryan Boyce, his good friend inside the house, helped him in some parts of the task.
Once finished, the bridge had to be walked on by two persons to test its stability. And the two persons who tested Roy’s bridge were his father and mother.
Roy’s parents talked in the living room of the PBB house and they started out blaming each other for what happened in their family. Eventually, though, through the prodding of Roy, the two have somehow made amends and even shook hands in front of Roy.
Roy admitted to Big Brother that he’s partly happy and partly sad for what happened – happy because his parents were finally able to talk; sad because although they have already forgiven each other, it somehow didn’t result to making their family whole once again.
But as Big Brother told Roy, wounds need time to heal.
