THE X-FACTOR PHILIPPINES made its debut strongly last Saturday (June 23) with 28.1%, defeating GMA’s ‘Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho’s 15.6%. X-FACTOR continued its winning streak on Sunday (June 24) with its 20.3% rating, beating GMA’s ‘Pare & Pare’ (10.0%); and TV5′s airing of ‘Miss World Philippines’ that only got (3.8%).
The free TV coverage of NBA FINALS on ABS-CBN also ruled Philippine TV’s morning block last Friday (June 22) and occupied a Top 5 slot of Kantar Media’s list of overall top 20 programs in the country. NBA FINALS’ 22.1% rating slammed all its 5 rival programs in GMA including ‘Slamdunk’ (7.2%), ‘One Piece’ (7.6%), ‘Cooking With The Stars’ (5.1%), ‘Kapuso Movie Festival’ (8.0%), and ‘Chef Boy Logro Kusina Master’ (8.8%).
