Slater Young, grand winner of Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited (season 4), accidentally crashed his car in a gate while driving Monday morning on his way to their house in Cebu.
"Akala ko nasa main road pa ako ng subdivision mabilis yung takbo ko,” he told ABS-CBN News. “Pag-right turn ko akala ko yun yung daanan yun pala may cul-de-sac (dead end) na siya. Ayun pag-break ko, tumama ako sa gate."
Slater said the road wasn’t well-lit and that he was feeling sleepy while driving.
"Ang nagyaring lang my foot was on the break, na yung nakita ko siya (dead end), nag-break ako ng sobrang lakas para siyang may whiplash at nagbend yung foot ko," he added.
Good thing he didn’t suffer any major injuries, as he revealed in his official Twitter account.
"Had a minor accident sa car.. Twisted my foot. Galing ako sa xray.. Thank God bruised lang! :) have to use crutches for a few days though."
He will be on crutches for 2 to 3 days, as per his doctor’s advise.
