Maricel Soriano will have a special guest appearance in the upcoming comedy movie Ikaw Na, Da Best Ka which is topbilled by the tandem of Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola.
The Diamond Star was last seen on the big screen via last year’s drama Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow. She hasn’t done much comedy films for quite some time and her fans will surely delight that she’s included in this movie, although just in a small role.
Along with Maricel, Roderick Paulate will also have a guest appearance in the movie. And knowing how hilarious the tandem of Maricel and Roderick are, plus, of course, the comedic talents of Jose and Wally that is showcased everyday in Eat Bulaga!, we’re sure that this movie will be as wacky as a comedy movie could be.
Ikaw Na, Da Best Ka is produced by APT Productions and distributed by Star Cinema. The movie is directed by Soxy Topacio and also stars Pokwang and Solenn Heussaff. It is set for a September 5, 2012 release.
