Zendee Rose Tenerefe contacted by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”

After guesting in Party Pilipinas, Zendee Rose Tenerefe may soon be conquering American television as well.

The YouTube sensation, who gained internet fame when a video of her singing And I Am Telling You at SM Megamall was uploaded on the video sharing website, revealed that The Ellen DeGeneres Show has already contacted her.

“Na-contact na po ako ng Ellen DeGeneres Show po,” Zendee told the GMA-7 news program Saksi.

She also said that the internationally famous talk show contacted her through YouTube.

“Sa YouTube po nag-ano po sila nag-message po sila sa akin na mag-iwan daw po ako ng contact number at saka e-mail po dahil iko-contact daw po nila ako as soon as possible.”

It can be noted that The Ellen DeGeneres Show was instrumental in the international career of Charice Pempengco. It was Ellen who discovered Charice’s YouTube video singing, oh well, the same And I Am Telling You and flew the 15-year-old to the U.S. to guest on the show. Oprah eventually also guested Charice on her own show and the rest was history.

But then Ralph Salazar also guested on Ellen and nothing as amazing happened.

Let’s just keep our fingers crossed that a “Charice Pempengco” will happen to Zendee Rose.
