Mario looks so slick on the cover with his hair swept back and shiny. That crease on his forehead may mean to say he’s not kidding, but he still looks boyishly cute.
Mario has an upcoming movie with Kapamilya actress Erich Gonzales titled Suddenly It’s Magic, and he will soon come back to the Philippines to promote the movie.
Part of the promotion will be a stint in Asia’s longest-running drama anthology, Maalaala Mo Kaya. Talks about his MMK episode has surfaced as early as last year, before he even started shooting for the movie. We hope that it is really coming true soon.
Mario became popular in the Philippines when ABS-CBN aired a Tagalog-dubbed version of his movie Crazy Little Thing Called Love. But his popularity in the country reached a whole new level when he was tapped by the local clothing brand Penshoppe as an endorser and brought him in for photo shoots, fan conference and fashion shows.
Now that he has a Star Cinema movie coming up, we’re sure Mario Maurer’s name will become a household name soon.
