The 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy earned more than what My Little Bossings did on Sunday, January 5, 2014, according to Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) chairman Francis Tolentino.
Although he did not give out the figures, Tolentino told ABS-CBN News.com on Monday that the Vice Ganda-starrer, for one day alone, beat the top-grosser which is topbilled by the child star Ryzza Mae Dizon and Vic Sotto, together with Kris Aquino and son Bimby Yap.
"For that single day lang, 'yung kahapon lamang, 'yung 'Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy' for single day lang 'yung kahapon," he said.
He added, though, that My Little Bossings is still the overall leader.
Meanwhile, as of Sunday, Tolentino said the festival has already earned P934 million, and that's after twelve days of showing. The eight festival entries opened in theaters on Christmas Day.
