Boy Abunda revealed that Kris Aquino and ABS-CBN are continuously having talks regarding the Kris TV host's contract renewal. He wouldn't give a hint, however, regarding the presidential sister's would-be decision.
"Patuloy na nag-uusap ang ABS-CBN management at si Ms. Kris Aquino pero walang paalamanan na nangyari," Boy said in Buzz ng Bayan on Sunday.
He also added that it is better to just wait for Kris, who is currently in London with her sons Joshua and Bimby, to answer the questions of whether she will stay with ABS-CBN or transfer to another network.
"She will explain, she will answer this question better than I do. Hihintayin natin iyon," he said.
Rumors say another network offered Kris a key position if she would make the transfer. Just like what Ogie Alcasid got when he transferred to TV5. He now holds an executive position as head of the network's music department.
But whether Kris would transfer or not, she wants the public to know that she always considers her sons' well-being whenever she makes decisions.
"Thank You for caring very much about my future plans. For all those who understand that my decisions in life are most influenced by my sons, thank you," she said on Instagram.
Her most recent post, however, revealed that no decision has been made yet and that negotiations are still under way.
"No decision has been made, negotiations are ongoing," she said.
