18th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards (2013) – Winners list

The 18th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards (2013) was held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California on Thursday night (Friday morning in Manila), January 10th.

Ben Affleck, who was snubbed as director by the Academy Awards (Oscars) for his third movie Argo, won Best Director. The same movie was also awarded Best Picture.

Ang Lee’s Life of Pi, which is currently showing in Manila, won two awards – Best Cinematography and Best Visual Effects.

Anne Hathaway won Best Supporting Actress for her role as Fantine in Les Misérables, while Jennifer Lawrence received two acting awards – Best Actress in an Action Movie for The Hunger Games and Best Actress in a Comedy for Silver Linings Playbook.
