Due to public demand, Kahit Konting Pagtingin starring Angeline Quinto, Paulo Avelino and Sam Milby has been promoted to the primetime block instead of the afternoon timeslot it has originally been given.
The romantic comedy series was first marketed to air on ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Gold (afternoon block) but because the fans requested for it, the network decided to move the program to Primetime Bida.
The catch, however, was that instead of the January 21st premiere, it has been moved one week later. It is now scheduled to air its pilot episode on January 28.
It has switched timeslots and premiere date with May Isang Pangarap, a kantaserye that stars Carmina Villaroel, Vina Morales and two new child stars Larah Claire Sabroso and Julia Klarisse Base. It will air a week earlier than scheduled this Monday, January 21, after It’s Showtime.
But didn’t the network have problems with Vina’s contract before in Nasaan Ka Elisa? That series was supposed to air on Kapamilya Gold as well but due to the contracts of some actors, Vina included, that says they can only be seen on primetime, it was moved to an evening timeslot. It was so 2011, though, so perhaps changes has been made.
Meanwhile, it can be noted that in the rival network, GMA-7, Heart Evangelista’s Forever which was also originally intended for the afternoon block was moved to primetime as well.
