ABS-CBN’s Apoy Sa Dagat is set to premiere on February 4, 2013. It takes the timeslot of Kahit Puso’y Masugatan which is on its last two weeks.
Apoy Sa Dagat is said to be the most passionate primetime drama series of the Kapamilya Network. It tells a compelling story of burning love among four characters - Serena (Angelica), Ruben (Piolo), Anton (Diether) and Rebecca (played by Angelica as well).
Directed by FM Reyes and Nick Olanka, the series also stars Angel Aquino, Aiko Melendez, Sylvia Sanchez, Perla Bautista, Liza Lorena, Freddie Webb, Melai Cantiveros, Eric Fructuoso, Regine Angeles, Bryan Santos and Mikaila Ramirez, with the special participation of Nikki Gil, Empress Schuck and Patrick Garcia.
The story is about Serena, who as a girl was swept in an island with no memories about who she is. She grew up and fell in love with Ruben. But just as things seemed perfect enough, an accident would test Serena’s feelings for Ruben. But what was Anton’s connection in Serena’s life? And who was Rebecca and why did she look exactly like Serena?
