Popstar Sarah Geronimo recently signed a one-year exclusive contract with ABS-CBN and revealed that she is happy to remain in the network.
“I am very blessed and grateful to ABS-CBN because I remain to be a Kapamilya. There’s nothing I would want more than to stay where I am now,” she said.
But then her fans has more to be happy about because included in the contract is a new television show which will be either a drama series or a sitcom.
“Hopefully, my new projects will be able to give excitement to the public and will showcase the new and more mature Sarah,” she shared.
With a new show, will Sarah G. Live! be put off air? Let’s hope not because Sarah said she owes it to the show how mature she is now as a performer.
“I really learned a lot from the show,” Sarah said. “I’ve learned to stand up for myself and be confident in saying what I want to happen in the show. I became more involved in the song choices and ideas for the segments,” said Sarah.
Meanwhile, the singer and actress has a full first half of the year ahead. She’s currently busy shooting It Takes A Man And A Woman opposite John Lloyd Cruz to meet the March 30 playdate. The Cathy Garcia-Molina movie is the third and final installment to the love story of Laida (Sarah) and Miggy (John Lloyd). The first two movies A Very Special Love and You Changed My Life were both blockbusters that’s why the same is expected for the third.
To top it off, Sarah has a big 10th anniversary concert in July at the Mall of Asia Arena. Other details about the concert haven’t been revealed but for sure, the venue will be flocked by her fans.
